Given the rich historical and cultural backgrounds of both Arabic and Urdu, the significance of this theme intensifies as words go from one culturally and linguistically diverse context to a similar one. Urdu, deeply rooted in the Indian subcontinent, exhibits linguistic influences from various sources, with Arabic playing a prominent role. The research encompasses a detailed examination of the characteristics of Arabic and Urdu languages, a semantic analysis of Arabic words borrowed into Urdu, and an exploration of the factors influencing these semantic changes.
