Abstract

If morals represent human external and internal image, or a description of his psychological state that can be attained by instinct, character, training or diligence, then its relationship with translation is a bigger responsibility. It is a follow-up of peoples’ thought and an exchange of interests among humans. Al-Jahid had designed integral theoretical fundaments for moralizing translation. These fundaments are extant as confirmed by Georges Mounin and several other specialists after centuries from his time. This is what this paper seeks to detail between old and contemporary scholars for determining the concept and setting foundation for the perspective.
