Dr. Nasir's Bionote

Dr. phil. Nasir Mahmood is an accomplished scholar and academician with a Ph.D. in Arabic linguistics and Translation studies from the University of Leipzig, Germany.

Being polyglot & proficient in six languages i.e. Arabic, English, German, Urdu, Punjabi, and Mewati and  more than ten year  experience in Pakistani and European organizations & universities, Dr. Nasir Mahmood has established himself as an expert in the field of Arabic linguistics, Translating, Translation studies, and Islamic sciences.

As a prolific researcher, Dr. Nasir Mahmood has published research articles in both national and international journals, covering a range of topics in Arabic, English, and Urdu languages. His research interests encompass Arabic linguistics, Translation studies, and Islamic sciences, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach and expertise in these fields.

Dr. Nasir Mahmood's dedication to teaching excellence has been acknowledged through various prestigious awards: he was honored with the Beast Teacher of the year Award by the Department of Translation & Interpretation, International Islamic University, Islamabad as well as he also received the Best Performance Award for his outstanding contributions to the digitalization of the department from the same University. In 2023 he was recognized as Best Teacher and excellent Faculty member by University of Sialkot.
