Dr. Ghazi's Bionote

Prof. Inam ul Haq Ghazi is the Chairman Center for Translation Studies & Multilingualism, Islamabad (CTSM) and Ex-Founder-Chairman, Department of Translation & Interpretation and Center of Translation at International Islamic University Islamabad Pakistan (IIUI). As Chairman CTSM, he is leading multipronged activities such as language & translation solutions, training of translators and translation teachers, and research in the areas of Translation studies.
Having PhD in Arabic Travelogs, Educational Management Degree, extensive training in educational development & vast experience in curriculum design, teaching Arabic, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Prof Ghazi has authored 10 books & published a number of research articles in the areas of Arabic for non-native speakers, Arabic Linguistics & Literature, Arabic language assessment standards, Arabic Travel writings and Translation Studies in three languages i.e. Arabic, English & Urdu. Additionally, he has also translated 4 books from & to Arabic. He also has a long experience in translating & interpreting between the above mentioned three languages.
His areas of research & interest include:

• Translation of Quran into English & Urdu,
• MT, AI & Human Translation,
• Contrastive Linguistics,
• Teaching & Assessment of Arabic for non-native speakers,
• Arabic travel-writings about South Asia during the Middle Ages.
