Naveed ur Rehman Dawar is an accomplished translator and linguist specializing in Arabic literature, translation, and interpretation. He possesses strong language skills in Urdu, Arabic, English, Punjabi, and has a foundation level of Persian, enabling him to effectively bridge linguistic and cultural gaps between these languages.
He holds a Master's degree in Arabic Literature (MS) from the International Islamic University in Islamabad (IIUI) and has received recognition for his academic achievements, including a Gold Medal for exceptional performance in the MA Arabic Literature program at IIUI. He has also completed additional qualifications in various disciplines including Dars- e- Nizami and LLB.
He has gained valuable experience as a translator for reputable organizations such as IIUI's Translation & Interpretation Department, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ruwwad al-Tarjama, Dubai, Qaf Group, SDA International, Lahore, G. Translation Solutions UK, and the Center for Translation Studies and Multilingualism in Islamabad. He is skilled in translating Arabic literature, academic texts, and various documents between Arabic, English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
His translation achievements include co-authoring the book "Arabic for Communication" with Dr. Inam ul Haq Ghazi and translating numerous books on topics such as Islamic literature, Islamic jurisprudence, and self-improvement. He has also undertaken translation and localization projects for websites and applications, ensuring accessibility in multiple languages.
In addition to his translation work, he has a strong teaching background, having served as a Lecturer in Arabic at esteemed institutions like Beacon House School System Islamabad, Government Khwaja Fareed Graduate College, R.Y. Khan and Sadiq Abbas P/G College, Dera Nawab. He has also been a Visiting Faculty Member at the Translation and Interpretation Department of Islamic International University in Islamabad and Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
